Rutland Plastics works collaboratively with customers from concept to completion. Its in‑house experts provide design for manufacture support using advanced 3D CAD and Moldex3D simulation, ensuring every project is optimised for performance, cost and production efficiency. The company offers a complete end‑to‑end service including design for manufacture, tooling, moulding, machining, printing, assembly and warehousing — all delivered from a single, well‑equipped site.
The business processes an extensive variety of polymers, from prime and reprocessed materials to glass‑filled, mineral‑filled and specialist compounds. It also works with a wide range of additives and masterbatches, including flame retardants, anti‑microbials and blowing agents. Rutland Plastics has particular expertise in large‑part and thick‑section moulding, routinely producing components with sections exceeding 100mm.
A cloud‑based ERP system ensures full traceability, flexible scheduling and seamless production control. Customers can order on demand or align manufacturing with their own schedules, with the option for bulk production and call‑off storage to optimise cost and efficiency.
Sustainability is central to the company’s operations.
