Deutz is launching new water-cooled compact, heavy-duty diesel engines with power outputs ranging from 10kW to 50kW
Deutz, one of the world’s largest independent manufacturers of diesel and gas engines, has added two new compact engine families to its range.
Falling into the lower end of the power bracket, with outputs for the five additional models covering 10kW to 50kW, the new D2008 and D2009 water-cooled, three and four-cylinder, compact, heavy-duty engines are exceptionally quiet and very economical, with extremely low emissions.
Both the D2008 and D2009 ranges offer compact, space-saving engine platforms to minimise any potential equipment redesign costs, and their impressive power-to-weight ratio and extremely high levels of reliability, combined with long maintenance intervals, provide cost-effective operation even in the most demanding conditions.
These new engine ranges now join well-established products such as the 909 series single-cylinder air-cooled models, which provide outputs from 6kW to 11kW and comply with EU Stage 2 and US EPA Tier 2 emissions legislation.
Whether mechanically or electronically controlled, and air-, oil- or water-cooled, Deutz diesel engines are amongst the world leaders from an environmental standpoint.
