Evolution Measurement has launched the EvoScann P16X-A, a next-generation miniature multi-channel pressure scanner developed for high-performance aerodynamic testing
Expanding on the first-generation 16-channel P16A and weighing under 17 grams, the P16X-A provides high-accuracy pressure measurement in previously inaccessible locations. Its ultra-compact design allows it to be installed within aerofoils, ducts, and model surfaces.
Designed for speed, the system includes plug-and-play CAN/CAN FD connectivity, enabling power and data through a single cable for rapid deployment and minimal setup time.
To further accelerate installation, the P16X-A is supported by an optional anti-vibration mounting frame and a removable manifold for faster setup, enhanced durability, and simpler integration across a variety of test environments.
Designed for challenging conditions, the rugged composite construction provides impact and splash protection, while high-temperature capability enables placement close to heat-intensive components such as exhaust systems and engines.
The P16X-A integrates 16 high-performance piezo-resistive sensors with individual 24-bit A/D converters, providing improved accuracy, stability, and low noise. Integrated temperature compensation also ensures reliable data in changing conditions.
