AMP is hoping to re-define industrial cleaning with its new system’s launch
Technology manufacturer Automated Material Processing (AMP) has launched its TotalClean Clean-in-Place (CIP) system, which aims to thoroughly clean industrial equipment while also increasing efficiency, safety and profitability.
This new system can be used by operators in sectors including food, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, chemical, cosmetic, food processing, dairy and brewing. The product will help them to achieve FDA, 3A and BPE standards.
High-pressure nozzles are coupled with advanced technology to thoroughly clean equipment. Manual intervention is reduced by automation, allowing for a consistent and repeatable CIP cleaning process when compared with traditional methods.
The system averages just 30-60 minutes to clean and these cycles allow for fast batch changes and product throughput.

A standout feature of the new system is its highly customisable devices and zones. These devices allow the system to target specific areas such as door recesses, inlet ports, discharges and mixer agitators.
A wash coverage of 99% is possible through a combination of the cleaning devices built into the system. Mobile units can be mounted on skid or static installations to create a flexible solution, making the system applicable to a range of facility layouts.
On-demand hot water, flow control, pressure control, high-pressure/low-flow, temperature monitoring, temperature control, detergent injection and conductive-based detergent control are the main functions of the system.
Along with this, it also integrates HMI/PLC controls for precise operation, monitoring and verification. Retrofitting is possible for any product or vessel allowing flexibility on various applications.
