AGR and THF collaborate to advance AI well engineering

AGR and THF Engineered Solutions have formed a strategic partnership to explore how engineering-led AI can enhance well planning, assurance, and well delivery

The partnership combines AGR’s knowledge in well engineering and project delivery experience with THF’s AI-enabled workflow platform, WellPhase, to help operators and engineers identify operational risks earlier, improve planning quality, reduce time spent reviewing historical well data, and deliver wells more safely and efficiently.

The partnership expands on a successful offset well review pilot involving AGR’s well specialists. Utilising WellPhase and its embedded Engineering Logic and Learning Intelligence System (ELLIS), large volumes of historical well information can be analysed and transformed into structured engineering insights, providing a traceable first-pass review of key events, risks, and planning considerations.
