Cummins announces its participation in the trade show
Power technology company Cummins will showcase its advanced power solutions at Bauma 2025, taking place in Munich, Germany from April 7th to 13th. Cummins offers fully integrated powertrain solutions, including engines, axles, heavy-duty breaks, transfer cases, gearboxes, aftertreatment, and telematics.
Integration processes can be simplified for customers using Cummins power unit packages, allowing users to select optimal combination of powertrain and components.
Cummins’ can scale in on-highway trucking to launch technologies and sustain the development and supply chain for the future. These capabilities have lead to Off-Highway OEMs preferring Cummins’ as a partner.

The Next Generation X15 engine will be on display at Bauma, with a scaled model of the QSK60 for mining, and the Meritor MOX E8 telehandler axel also on display. PrevenTech, the company’s telematics-based connectivity solution, will be available for exhibitors to see for themselves.
Large construction bulldozers, cranes, excavators, and more are all powered with the X15, part of the Cummins HELM fuel agnostic engine platform. The platform aims to utilise clean diesel, natural gas, renewable biofuels, or hydrogen and ensures compatibility with changing environmental regulations while helping customers unique requirements during energy transition.
Digital connectivity features are installed onto the X15, as well as improved fuel economy and longer service intervals compared to previous models. The overall package size has been reduced, now similar to that of a 13L engine.
The X15 is capable of up to 522kW (700hp) and a peak torque of 3200Nm (2360lb-ft) and is targeted for Stage V emissions and beyond.
Adding to their display will be the Tier 4 Final/Stage V compliant Cummins QSK60, capable of delivering up to 2125kW (2850hp) and a maximum torque of 11,218Nm (8274lb-ft).
