The two have joined forced to create robotics and automation solutions for manufacturers
Dassault Systemes has entered into a partnership with global industrial automation and robotics company KUKA, with aims of providing manufacturers with robotics and automation solutions.
The agreement will see Dassault Systemes join mosaixx, KUKA’s digital ecosystem for industrial software, which allows users to purchase and use Dassault Systemes’ 3DExperience platform and applications. This improves collaboration capabilities for clients, as they can now use virtual twin technology.
The pair estimate the industrial robot installations market at a value of $16.5 billion. The market is predominately driven by AI, and currently has over four million industrial robots operating globally. Estimations sees installations increasing to 718,000 by 2026.

Mosaixx was launched in 2024 to provide an open and collaborative cloud platform for industrial software. This has helped drive digitalisation and automation on factory floors as engineers and integrators have been provided with the systems they need to do so. Regardless of machine type, the ecosystem approach can help automation processes.
3DExperience by Dassault Systemes is used across industry to design, simulate, and engineer products, processes, and infrastructure. This can be done virtually and using real-time data, allowing users to envision what results will look like before physically implementing them.
