The photodiode offers a narrow spectral response to deliver accurate photometric measurements
Photonic sensor expert Hammatsu Photonics has launched the S16495 silicon photodiode, designed for industrial, environmental and research and development applications.
The S16495 photodiode offers detection at 310nm, and features a specialised filter and a compact, leadless ceramic package. This makes it particularly suitable for hydrogen and UVB detection in diverse settings.
The narrow spectral response helps to deliver accurate photometric measurements with mineral stray light, and the compact, surface-mount design saves space and supports easy integration.
Key benefits:
- Compact Design: Leadless ceramic package enables easy integration and minimises space requirements.
- High Sensitivity: Specialised monochromatic light filter ensures precise detection at 310nm for hydrogen and UVB monitoring.
- Versatile Applications: Supports safety and performance in a wide range of industrial and environmental contexts.
