ioTech launches new next-generation platform

The io600 utilises closed-loop process control, industrial throughput, and AI-driven feedback

ioTech has unveiled its next-gen platform, the io600, capable of bringing intelligence, scalability, and agility to digital material deposition, ahead of productronica 2025

 

Building on its Continuous Laser Assisted Deposition (CLAD) technology, the io600 utilises closed-loop process control, industrial throughput, and AI-driven feedback to help manufacturers move from rapid development to high-volume production.

 

The io600 enables the printing of complex structures with embedded electronic functions at micron-level precision. It provides micron-level accuracy (±10µm), 40µm line widths and screen-printing throughput, within a digital, nozzle-free platform. Developed for Industry 4.0 environments, it allows flexibility, repeatability, and reliability for next-gen electronics manufacturing.

 

Powered by CLAD, the io600 is designed for scalable, closed-loop deposition, continuously monitoring deposition through integrated sensors and adaptive AI. Real-time feedback allows immediate adjustment and repair.

 

A CAD-to-print workflow is linked to design data to minimise setup and accelerate new product introduction. Its plug-and-produce configuration is able to integrate into existing production lines.

 

The io600 can handle various flowable industrial materials, including conductive and dielectric, from polymers and solder to metal and ceramics, even in high-viscosity formulations. It can support multi-material deposition in a single process so that engineers can combine dielectric and conductive materials for complex, functional architectures.

Customers can print at micron precision, switch materials on the fly, and scale directly to high-volume production, all within a single platform.”

 

The io600 has a 600x600mm work area to accommodate most substrates in the industry. The same hardware is used for all materials and applications, and a 20x productivity gain over conventional dispensers and jets reduces the cost per part. The io600 can scale from prototyping to industrial production, meeting the needs of IDMs, EMSs, OEMs, and OSATs, advancing the next generation of digital manufacturing.

 

At productronica 2025 in Munich on November 18-21, ioTech will be exhibiting both of its CLAD systems, the io300 and io600, in Hall A2, Booth 236.
