Kason’s new Precision-Flo for Vibroscreen screeners

Kason has launched its new product for simplifying weight adjustments

Akona Process Solutions brand Kason Corporation has launched its newest design for circular screening technology, the Precision-Flo. The new system allows for simplified adjustments of eccentric weights.

Eccentric weights are important for the vibratory motion of Vibroscreen circular screeners. Traditionally, adjusting eccentric weights can be slow and difficult, as it requires a lot of tools and partial disassembly.

The Precision-Flo system removes the complications by adding an adjustment mechanism that is void of any tools. It is both quick and efficient. This is useful for the initial setup of screeners and for regular modification of amplitude settings for a range of applications.

During operation, top eccentric weight of circular screeners is used for controlling the radial movement of material on the screen surface. The greater the weight, the greater the horizontal amplitude.

Vertical screen motion is dictated by the bottom eccentric weight, helping dislodge particles which clog the screen aperture. Extra weight needs are eliminated by the system, along with intricate adjustments.

Dan Chellew, VP of sales and marketing, Akona Process Solutions, said: “Precision-Flo is indicative of Kason's constant drive to innovate and enhance operational efficiency. The design not only saves time but also significantly improves the functionality and user-friendliness of VIBROSCREEN screeners, demonstrating Kason's ongoing commitment to meeting the evolving needs of its customers.”

Tool-less adjustments can be made by operators, with 720 weight combinations to choose from in a single pin. Time efficiency is increased, with the ideal lead angle being achieved in minutes.

No additional weights are required in the new system, due to its streamlined nature. Operational efficiency is increased by the system's ability to be maintained and adjusted by a single person.
