LK Metrology is releasing its proprietary CAMIO software for programming, analysis, and reporting on coordinate measuring machines (CMM). The latest CAMIO 2026 R1 version enhances multi-sensor metrology with comprehensive support for Renishaw’s REVO 5-axis scanning probe system
The development will help manufacturers combine the speed and flexibility of REVO’s synchronised 5-axis motion with CAMIO’s inspection capabilities for complex tasks. It can manage bridge, horizontal arm and gantry CMMs, together with conventional touch-trigger probes, analogue scanning probes, laser scanners, and REVO.
Within CAMIO, users can program and execute REVO inspection routines directly, facilitating the full use of advanced, multi-axis measurement strategies. The software optimises probe motion and measurement paths to reduce inspection time and maintain measurement accuracy. Its interface and offline programming capabilities simplify inspection program development, enabling users to create, verify, and optimise routines before deploying them on the CMM, enhancing productivity and minimising machine downtime.
