New high-performance, ultra-low power, rugged, compact solution for 10-year longevity
Edge computing company ADLink Technology has unveiled its new OSM-MTK510, an OSM R1.1 Size-L featuring 662NGA module which is powered by the MediaTek Genio 510 series processor. The OSM solution was created for efficiency and performs well with comprehensive AI workload for real-time decision-making and managing complex data processing.
Underpinning the OSM-MTK510 is a powerful 6-core CPU which features a 2x Arm Cortex-A78, helping it operate on demanding tasks. A 4x Arm Cortex-A55 helps overall consumption stay below 5W, leading to ultra-low power consumption.
The MediaTek DLA+VPU AI engine helps achieve up to 3.2TOPS, accelerating AI computations which aids real-time intelligence decision-making.
Quicker AI model interface and streamlined machine learning tasks are enabled through the integrated Neural Processing Unit (NPU), leading to high efficiency. 8GB LPDDR4 RAM and 128GB eMMC support efficient processing and reliable storage for larger datasets and computational AI tasks.
Henri Parmentier, senior product manager from ADLINK, said: “You will never go wrong with its impressive graphics performance, offering 4K support and a variety of video output options, including HDMI/DP, eDP, and DSI. It also integrates ISP cameras with 30MP resolution, perfect for machine learning tasks, vision systems, and real-time image processing. With 1x GbE, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, I2S audio codec interface, and 17x GPIOs, ensuring seamless portability into various applications.”
Due to the rugged design, it can operate in temperatures ranging from -40°C to 85°C and is suitable for use in extremely high-vibration environments and has a guaranteed 10-year life cycle, making it suitable in mission-critical embedded systems.
A 45mm x 45mm OSM form factor is installed and is a computer-on-module for solderable BGA mini modules, supporting both ARM and x86 designs.
