PULS has expanded its FIEPOS (FIEld POwer Supply) portfolio with new 100W and 200W field-mounted power supplies designed to support decentralised architectures in industrial automation and intralogistics.
The single-phase FIEPOS Low Power Class units provide 24V DC close to sensors, actuators, distributed I/O and smaller control systems. Available with IP65 and IP67 protection, the compact supplies are designed for installation outside traditional control cabinets, reducing cable runs and helping machine builders simplify system layouts.
The new models complement PULS’s existing 360W and 600W FIEPOS products, extending the range of power levels available for decentralised machine architectures. Output configurations include NEC Class 2-compliant versions, dual NEC Class 2 outputs and a 200W output option, providing flexibility for different load and system requirements.
According to PULS, the field-mounted approach can reduce the need for centralised control cabinet capacity while shortening wiring distances and supporting faster installation and commissioning. This is particularly relevant to conveyor systems, warehouse automation and material-handling equipment, where distributed loads can otherwise require extensive cabling infrastructure.
Efficiency is another focus of the new range. The FIEPOS Low Power Class devices achieve efficiency of up to 95.1%, limiting power losses and associated heat generation. PULS specifies a service life exceeding 200,000 hours, supporting long-term operation in demanding industrial environments.
A selected model incorporates IO-Link communication, allowing diagnostic information and remote monitoring to be integrated into connected automation systems. This can provide greater visibility of power-system status and support condition-based and predictive maintenance strategies.

The expanded portfolio reflects the wider move towards decentralised automation, in which power and control functions are distributed closer to machines and loads. For OEMs and system integrators, this can free cabinet space, reduce installation complexity and provide greater flexibility when scaling machinery.
The new Low Power Class supplies therefore extend FIEPOS from higher-power distributed applications into smaller loads, giving designers a broader set of options for decentralised 24V DC power distribution.
