Dynamic energy and load management for high-power charging infrastructure rolled out by pair

Digital transformation of energy management and automation provider Schneider Electric and smart charging technology company The Mobility House Solutions have come together to jointly roll out and sell EV load management, smart charging, and energy solutions.

Both companies possess complementary competencies, technologies, and passions to each other, with both having a mission to reduce the 10% of global energy-related CO2 emissions from private cars and 35% from trucks and buses. This has inspired both companies to pursue fleet electrification.

Schneider Electric and The Mobility House Solutions hope combining their strengths will enable both companies to make strides in creating charging infrastructure and ease the commissioning of mobility electrification projects.

Asha Devasia, power systems strategy SVP, said: "We are pleased to partner with The Mobility House, who share our vision of a decarbonized future for mobility. Together, we are poised to speed up the deployment of important technologies for fleet electrification. We expect this cooperation to serve a cross-section of markets seeking a smart and sensible approach to charging performance and coordination."

Societal and business benefits can be expected from these developments, including suppliers of in-transit or in-depot charging solutions. Benefits include capital expenditure, energy efficiency improvements, and a pathway for future energy services.

Schneider Electric will bring a strong global presence, advanced energy and power management solutions, power digitisation with scalability, and strong expertise to the partnership. Whilst The Mobility House Solutions will partner this with ChargePilot technology, Reliable hardware neutral fleet charging, and total cost of ownership reduction.

Heiko Bayer, managing director at The Mobility House Solutions, said: “Our advanced charging and energy management system ChargePilot enables our partners to offer reliable charging at lowest possible energy and grid connection costs. In our experience customers can save up to 70% in grid connection costs and another 20-50% in energy costs. Partnering with a strong industry leader like Schneider Electric allows us to combine our expertise and join forces to accelerate the electrification of mobility, delivering innovative and impactful solutions on a global scale.”

Cooperation can allow the companies to operate in a far more efficient and cost-effective manner, allowing them to go to multiple markets. Customers can be provided with a unique, local charge and energy management system for smart and fast EV charging at scale.
