Our customers are packaging producers who manufacture a wide variety of woven plastic sack types such as sewn bags, top-sealed bags, block bottom valve bags, or pinch bottom bags for dry bulk goods like cement and other construction materials, chemical granules and powders, animal feed, fertilizer, cereals, rice or flour. In line with our commitment to sustainability in the plastics sector, our packaging production machines also process recycled polypropylene and polyester to enable closed loops for the woven sacks our customers produce.
Our second field of business is plastics recycling technology. For more than 25 years Starlinger has been building up know-how in plastics recycling, developing advanced mechanical recycling solutions for a wide range of plastics such as PE, PP, PET, PES, PA PLA, PS, and others. Our recoSTAR product line comprises recycling systems for applications such as
- food-contact recycling (PET bottle-to-bottle, HDPE/PP cap-to-cap)
- recycling of post-consumer plastics
- recycling of post-industrial plastics
- recycling of polyester fibres for textiles (including flake-to-fibre)

Our PET recycling systems are approved for use in food applications by many brand owners as well as various national and international authorities such as the US FDA or European EFSA.
