A new whitepaper by Haskel is exploring how dependable fluid power technology can support safer, more efficient operations across the oil and gas industry.
The sector is facing increasing operating pressures, harsh environments and high equipment failure costs, which are placing greater reliability demands on hydraulic and pneumatic systems. The whitepaper, titled High-Pressure Reliability in Upstream Oil & Gas Operations, examines these challenges.

According to the whitepaper, the financial and operational consequences of failure are rising. Deepwater and ultra-deepwater projects are growing in scale and complexity, and maintenance interventions can cost up to millions of dollars per day.
As such, fluid power systems are increasingly expected to deliver fail-safe operation, pressure stability, corrosion resistance and long service life. High-pressure fluid power technologies are fundamental to maintaining safe and efficient operations.
