Phihong has expanded its line of desktop-style, single-output adapters to include a 3-wire, 120W universal adapter.
Designated the PSA120U series, these adapters are available with outputs of 12, 24, and 48V, all of which comply with the California Energy Commission’s Appliance Efficiency regulation (CEC) and the Federal US Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 (EISA).

“Phihong adapters provide OEMs with cost-efficient solutions for operating under
increasing energy efficiency standards, which has long been a goal for the company, even before going green was being legislated,” said Keith Hopwood, vice president of marketing for Phihong USA.
PSA120U adapters come fully sealed in non-vented, spill-proof cases. They feature
universal AC inputs, IEC320 C14 inlet receptacles, 0A minimum load, no-load power
consumption of less than 0.5W at 115VAC input, Class B electromagnetic interference
compliance, and cUL, UL, TUV, and CE safety approvals.
PSA120U adapters also provide short-circuit, over-voltage, and over-power protection. Each adapter measures 6.85 inches in length by 3.03 inches in width and stands 1.69 inches high.
