For applications calling for the measurement of large loads but with only restricted space in which to locate a load cell, RDP Electronics is extending the range of options available.
At just 19mm diameter and 6.5mm high, the Model 13 compression load cell can handle an impressive 4.4kN load with infinite resolution, while the larger Model 53, at 36mm diameter and 25mm high, is rated for a maximum 133kN. Constructed from stainless steel, both models are physically robust, compact and well suited to measuring large loads in applications where space is limited. For ease of installation, Models D and TH offer the additional benefit of through-hole mounting.
