Power plants and ports will receive carbon capture equipment from the partnership
Greener Process Systems (GPS) has combined with Goltens to announce its new modular system to capture maritime and industrial emissions along with CO2 called SETH. SETH reduces air pollution from oceangoing tonnage to near zero. This technology is usable on tankers, freighters, cruise ships and ferries that have been docked. The technology can be implemented without modifications or retrofitting.
Goltens’ chief operating officer, Roy Strand said: "This move towards a strategic partnership underscores our combined commitment to environmental sustainability and a proactive approach to supporting the transition to greener practices in the maritime and power generation industries."
GPS’ industrial emissions management system can be used in glass, paint, cement, steel, aluminium, food, incinerators, kilns, power generation and chemical processing factories to reduce CO2 emissions. Companies can earn carbon credits through this technology, as it is capable of capturing gaseous pollutants including CO2. Significant energy can be generated from waste heat recovery, which has the added bonus of increasing revenue.

The partnership intends to supply sustainable solutions for power plants and ports which are required to meet stringent environmental regulations. This has been achieved by a combination of Goltens’ engine, engineering and retrofitting expertise which has been added to GPS’ technology.
