For high-current, high-isolation applications
Littelfuse, an industrial technology manufacturing company, has launched the CPC1343G OptoMOS Solid-State Relay, a compact, normally open (1-Form-a) OptoMOS relay designed for high-reliability switching in challenging industrial, medical, and instrumentation applications
Built on Littelfuse OptoMOS technology, the CPC1343G combines 900mA continuous load current, 60V blocking voltage, and 5,000 VRMS input-to-output isolation, engineered to meet safety and compliance requirements in a 4-pin package. A fast switching performance of 4ms turn-on and 1ms turn-off enables precise control in modern electronic systems, and a 3mA maximum LED drive current ensures compatibility with TTL and CMOS logic without additional interface circuitry.
Developed for demanding operating environments, the CPC1343G supports an extended ambient temperature range of -40°C to 105°C. Its solid-state construction prevents mechanical wear, enabling silent, maintenance-free operation and long-term reliability.
The CPC1343G reduces power dissipation and improves thermal performance at higher load currents thanks to its maximum on-resistance of 0.8Ω. The device is available in through-hole DIP-4 and surface-mount configurations, simplifying PCB layout and enabling flexible manufacturing options in industrial and medical platforms.
Dr Hugo Guzman, product marketing manager at Littelfuse, said, “With the launch of the CPC1343G, we’re giving our customers a high-performance solid-state relay that combines reinforced isolation, fast switching, and extended temperature capability. This solution addresses critical reliability and safety challenges in space-constrained designs, helping engineers reduce maintenance, improve system robustness, and accelerate time to market.”
The CPC1343G family offers various package options to meet different assembly and volume requirements:
- CPC1343G: DIP-4, through-hole, tube (100). Typical use cases include prototyping and industrial control boards.
- CPC1343GR: DIP-4, surface mount, tube (100). Typical use case includes Low-volume SMT production.
- CPC1343GRTR: DIP-4, surface mount, tape & reel (1,000). Typical use case includes automated, high-volume SMT lines.
The CPC1343G is suitable for applications requiring high isolation, fast response, and reliable operation at elevated temperatures, including:
- Automatic test equipment
- Medical equipment requiring patient-to-equipment isolation
- Industrial control systems and automation
- Utility and smart metering systems
- Instrumentation, data acquisition, and multiplexing
By combining high-load-current capability, reinforced isolation, and compact packaging, the CPC1343G expands the Littelfuse OptoMOS portfolio and provides designers with a compliance-ready switching solution for next-generation electronic systems.
