Atlant 3D has launched Nanofabricator Pro, a platform designed to connect AI-driven materials discovery with programmable atomic-scale fabrication, experimental validation and device prototyping.
The Copenhagen-based company says the platform addresses a key limitation in AI-assisted materials development: the difficulty of validating computationally generated predictions. Conventional workflows typically separate materials design, fabrication, characterisation and manufacturing, potentially slowing the transition from digital concepts to functional technologies.
Nanofabricator Pro is based on Atlant 3D’s proprietary Direct Atomic Layer Processing (DALP) technology and forms part of what the company describes as its Physical AI Infrastructure for Matter. It is also intended to provide the foundation for the company’s A-HUB Autonomous Materials Foundry, combining AI-driven materials discovery with atomic-scale manufacturing and rapid experimental validation.
The platform targets applications spanning semiconductor manufacturing, advanced packaging, quantum technologies and emerging materials applications. According to Atlant 3D, its integration of fabrication and validation is intended to reduce the gap between predicted material properties and experimentally demonstrated performance.

The system has been industrialised with Automated Industrial Robotics (AIR) and is described as a SEMI-compliant platform for advanced semiconductor manufacturing. AIR is manufacturing the equipment in the US, supporting Atlant 3D’s stated objective of establishing scalable production and expanding its US presence.

Atlant 3D says its next development phase will focus on self-driving platform capabilities based on Nanofabricator Pro, incorporating integrated metrology and additional processing technologies. The company is also seeking strategic partners to support the development and expansion of physical AI technologies across advanced technology markets.
