CAM Assist solution is already used by over 1,000 machine shops worldwide
CloudNC's CAM Assist solution is now used by over 1,000 machine shops and machinists around the world, using the solution's AI to program CNC machines. The company are now launching CAM Assist 2.0, an upgrade to the AI solution used by the CAM programming journey from CAD model to machine-ready toolpaths
CAM Assist 2.0 is an enhancement to the existing software, retaining its current speed but adding oversight, feedback and shared intelligence elements that machine shops require to use AI confidently. Programmers using CAM Assist can have control of every decision and save time when turning CAD models into reliable toolpaths.

CAM Assist 2.0 is a web-based CAM automation application that initiates from the user's CAM package, and 3-axis and 3+2 operations are supported. 2.0 also breaks out the AI stages so that parts can be assessed before running, and as files are being computed, the user has control over strategy editing.
New features in CAM Assist 2.0:
- Intelligent defaults and a configuration workflow to allow machinists to start programming sooner
- AI guidance and context-aware recommendations when choosing strategies, tool assemblies or feeds and speeds, increasing feedback
- Users can inspect, adjust and edit each strategy operation before any toolpath is committed to a CAM system
- Once approved, strategies are put directly into the user's preferred CAM package, ready for code generation and verification
