High-performance synthetic organic heat transfer fluid used in the Globaltherm Q

Thermal fluid producer and condition management company Global Heat Transfer has launched its new high-performance synthetic organic heat transfer fluid Globaltherm Q. The new heat transfer fluid has been designed to meet various industrial applications demands.

Globaltherm Q looks to offer high levels of thermal stability, high heat transfer efficiency, and reliable performance across a range of operating temperatures. These temperatures range from -35°C to 330°C. The fluid itself is formulated with a mixture of diphenylethane and alkylated aromatics. The versatility of the fluid allows for use in systems requiring both low-temperature pumpability and high-temperature stability.

Risk of wear and tear on the system is significantly reduced due to its ability to operate under low-pressure conditions, this increased the life span of both the system and the fluid within. The stability of the fluid means it can be used in high-demand environments, whilst low-temperature pumbaility allows for smooth operation in cold conditions, resulting in reduced maintenance and downtime.
