Hyundai Motor Group will unveil its Group-level AI Robotics Strategy under the theme ‘Partnering Human Progress’ at CES 2026

The AI Robotics Strategy will be presented during Hyundai Media Day, 1:00-1:45 pm on January 5, 2026, at the Mandalay Bay Convention Centre in Las Vegas. It will also be live-streamed on the Hyundai Motor Group YouTube channel.

The 2026 event will highlight the expansion of the Group’s AI Robotics technology within its Group Value Network, outlining strategies to accelerate the commercialisation of AI Robotics through human-robot collaboration and Group-wide technological integration.

At CES 2026, Boston Dynamics, part of the Hyundai Motor Group, is set to present the new Atlas robot for the first time on stage. The next-generation Atlas is a step toward the commercialisation of AI Robotics and represents the Group’s work to develop robotic co-workers.

Hyundai Motor Group will also be revealing its strategic AI Robotics learning, training, and expansion plans, utilising its Group Value Network and Software-Defined Factory (SDF) approach.

Hyundai Motor Group’s SDF features an innovative manufacturing strategy and an advanced smart factory powered by data and software, enhancing flexibility and agility throughout the production process and accelerating manufacturing innovation.

Expanding on this, the Group plans to manage the entire value chain, from developing AI Robotics to learning, training, and operations, through integrated capabilities including robot components, logistics, and software.

Hyundai Motor Group is hosting an exhibition to showcase real-world applications of its AI Robotics technologies at the Las Vegas Convention Centre from January 6 to 9. Visitors will be able to see:

  • Interactive scenarios illustrating the practical impact of AI Robotics in work environments and daily life.
  • A recreation of the Group’s robotics research environment to engage visitors in the ongoing evolution of AI Robotics technologies.
  • Several AI robotics demonstrations and hourly presentations of Atlas, Spot, and MobED.
