Littlefuse launches TLSM series tactile switch

The series features a compact design and SPDT functionality

Industrial technology manufacturer Littlefuse has unveiled its TLSM Series Tactile Switches, designed for surface-mount technology (SMT). The fuses have a lifespan of up to 2 million cycles, making it a leader in the market for durability, meaning the switch is well-suited to high-use environments.

Flexibility is improved through the compact 3.45mm high profile and single-pole double-throw (SPDT) configuration, allowing it to work with more complex and versatile applications.

A soft actuator delivers precise tactile feedback for an improved user experience, which is enhanced in noise-sensitive environments. The switch has achieved an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance, meaning it is suitable for use in harsh industrial or outdoor conditions.

A wide voltage range is supported, with capacity for use between DC1V to 16V and a current range of 10µA to 50mA, allowing the switch to be compatible with a variety of low-power applications, allowing integration with modern electronic designs.

Littlefuse’s TLSM offers prolonged longevity, SPDT configuration, a compact and versatile design, soft actuator with quiet operation, environmental protection, and efficient manufacturing.

The TLSM series is suitable for industrial applications, transportation, consumer electronics, and medical devices.

Littlefuse’s portfolio is expanded by the TLSM series, giving an alternative to their existing KSC DCT (Dual Circuit Technology) switches and becoming the latest evolution of their TLS series.
