ANN-MB2 is designed for high-precision applications and multi-constellation applications
U-blox has announced its brand new external GNSS antenna ANN-MB2 for wide coverage, which is for high-precision applications. As well as wide coverage, the device can be used for multi-constellation high-precision applications.
The box has been optimised for industrial automation, surveying, autonomous vehicles, mobile robotics and other applications requiring centimetre-level position accuracy. This can be achieved even in challenging environments.
The real-time kinematic (RTK) antenna supports L1, L2, E6/B3, L5, L-band and all major GNSS systems. The antenna has been designed with a robust architectural design as well as superior multipath mitigation.
Versatile mounting options ensure the ANN-MB2 is applicable in a variety of situations and can be used in almost any set-up, integrating well.
Mass-market adoption is possible through the ANN-MB2’s fast design-in of wide-band high-precision positioning and applications This is coupled with easy evaluation capabilities to make the product suitable for mass use.
Boasting an impressive price-to-performance ratio, the ANN-MB2 is a good option for meeting budgetary requirements while still having a device that can do the task at hand.
Samples of the ANN-MB2 are available to engineers, with production of the ANN-MB2 planned for the fourth quarter of 2024.
