The week will unite the entire EV ecosystem, from vehicles and charging to renewables and software
Nineteen Group, a UK-based trade exhibition organiser, and The EV Café, a voice for zero-emission mobility and community engagement, have announced a strategic partnership to launch National EV Week
National EV Week will be the first week-long celebration dedicated to EVs and the entire ecosystem that supports mass adoption, including the renewables, charging infrastructure, and telematics/software sectors.
National EV Week is scheduled for December 1 to 5, 2025. The annual event seeks to unify the industry, accelerate dialogue, and showcase real-world solutions for the UK's journey to net zero.
John Curtis, marketing director of the EV Café, said, "This is a pivotal moment for our industry. For years, The EV Café has been the friendly, jargon-free pit stop for anyone interested in electrification. Now, by partnering with the Nineteen Group – who possess immense expertise in building large, impactful communities and trade platforms – we are turning our important work into a full, nationwide celebration."
The partnership utilises the strengths of both organisations, the EV Café's industry knowledge, community, and content style, combined with the Nineteen Group's record of providing successful trade exhibitions across UK sectors.
Mike Costain, managing director at Lyrical Communications, part of Nineteen Group, said, "The EV sector is dynamic and complex. The combination of hardware (vehicles, charging) and software (energy, data, routing) requires a dedicated, unifying platform of scale. National EV Week perfectly complements our portfolio, and we are proud to collaborate with The EV Café team to deliver the focused celebration the market needs."
National EV Week will include digital events from the partnership and physical events from the EV market to attract stakeholders from across fleet, logistics, energy, real estate, manufacturing, and local government. The focus will be on addressing the challenges of transitioning to electric, including power availability, fleet planning, renewable integration, and grid management.
The EV Café and Nineteen Group are actively seeking founding sponsors, supporting partners, and industry associations that share the vision for National EV Week, providing an opportunity to secure visible involvement in the inaugural year.
