New moisture analyser for all light bulky materials
PCE Instruments has launched its new PCE-UX 3081 moisture analyser for materials such as shavings, pellets, hay, tobacco leaves, tea leaves, granulates, powders, and silage. The device dries whilst simultaneously weighing and can display the loss as a percentage.
The PCE-UX 3081 is designed with a large drying pan for large weighing quantities in order to achieve reproducible results for light and bulky materials. Wood chips and other samples can be weighed up to approximately 200°C.
It's possible to have samples of 400g and 360cm³. The sample is continuously weighed, recorded, and displayed in real-time as a percentage of the total mass.
Additional measurements parameters including moisture percentage, dry matter percentage, moisture bd percentage, residual weight (g/kg), and absolute residual weight offer maximum flexibility analysing data.
Moisture analysers are important to the wood, agriculture, and plastics industry for exact measurements of moisture content. It plays a key role in optimising quality, shelf life and production process.
It boasts a resolution and accuracy of 0.01% is achieved across the moisture measurement range of 0 to 100%. Further to this, the moisture analyser has a weighing range of up to 400g and a precision of 0.001g.
A backlit 4-inch LC display shows measurement parameters with a navigation menu with options for English (UK and US) and German. Additional information can be found during operation from the menu lock. A 4-digit device ID and external printer options are supplemented by the GLP-compliant documentation.
The PCE-UX 3081 moisture analyser is suitable for organisations that require precise and reliable moisture measurement on production sites and laboratories. It features a 485ccm, user-friendly operation, and robust design.
