Sensor Technology Ltd launches SGR570 TorqSense PTO Torque Transducers

SGR570 TorqSense is designed for enhanced power take-off monitoring

Sensor Technology Ltd has released its SGR570 TorqSense Transducers for enhanced power take-off monitoring. The new product line delivers accurate and reliable torque measurements which can be used in agriculture, construction, and industrial applications.

The advanced sensors have been built to give reliable torque measurements for Power Take-Off (PTO) systems. This allows it to work on a range of systems.

PTO torque transducers are engineered to meet the demand for accurate performance data in heavy-duty equipment. These systems require monitoring of power and torque in PTO systems to be able to optimise operational efficiency and equipment lifespan.

Transducers are easy to install, allowing manufacturers, operators, and maintenance teams ease of use and helping them improve machine performance. This contributes to reduced downtime.

Key features include its high accuracy, durable design engineered for harsh environments, high integration with existing PTO systems, wireless connectivity for data transmission, and cost-effective maintenance by preventing equipment overload.

Tony Ingham, Sensor Technology Ltd, said: "We are proud to introduce our new range of PTO torque transducers, which are built to meet the demanding needs of industries that rely heavily on PTO systems. Our goal is to provide customers with reliable, real-time data to enhance machinery performance, improve operational efficiency, and reduce downtime. This new product line is the result of years of research and development, and we’re confident it will set a new standard in torque measurement technology."

Agriculture can better monitor the performance of tractors and other equipment, ensuring efficient power delivery along with optimised fuel consumption and reduce wear and tear on machinery.

Construction applications include improving the operational efficiency of heavy-duty construction equipment, including excavators and cranes. This is achieved through more precise torque measurements during operation.

Industrial equipment which relies on PTO systems can be improved through better monitoring and now predictive maintenance.
