Elmia Polymer takes place from 19 to 22 May 2026 in Jönköping, Sweden, and is considered an important industry platform for the plastics and rubber industry in Scandinavia.
The exhibition stand will feature a BOY 35 E with an igus handling system, mounted under the machine cover to save space. The machine will be producing food-preserving clips live. The two injection-moulded individual parts are then assembled into finished food-preserving clips by the handling system. This example demonstrates automated production that requires minimal floor space.
