New type CG330 and CG340 regulators to be introduced

Precision pneumatic and electro-pneumatic controls manufacturer ControlAir is releasing type CG330 and CG340 gas regulators to address the growing demand for low-emission solutions in industrial applications. Tasks involving compressed gases, such as inert gases, natural gas, and other sensitive media.

The new series has been created to deliver accurate pressure control while ensuring near-zero atmospheric leakage under dynamic or steady-state flow conditions. Strict condition applications which have fugitive emissions regulations are suitable for these robust regulators as they give users high reliability, operational efficiency, and environmental safety.

Low emission compliance on the new series ensures a near-zero atmospheric leakage for regulatory adherence, with leakage being less than 0.1 scfh (0.05 Nl/min). The series is build from die-cast aluminium alloy with an iridite and baked epoxy finish, giving it improved long-term performance in harsh environments.

To increase versatility, the series is available in both ¼” and ½” NPT port sizes, with output ranges of 0-30psig, 0-60psig, and 0-120psig. A range of media is compatible, handling air, inert gas, and sweet natural gas with temperature ranges of -17.7°C to 71.1°C for manual drain and 0°C to 71.1°C for automatic drain.

The CG330 features enhanced filtration, with a standard 40-micron filter and an optional 5-micron upgrade available for improved air quality. This is paired with an automatic drain system to prevent corrosion and reduce maintenance. Meanwhile, the CG340 compact design is lightweight and space-efficient with precise pressure regulation across variable flow rates and supply pressures.

Oil and gas, chemical processing, and any other operations requiring precise pressure regulations and environmental safety are critical are perfect applications of the new regulator series.
