Delta, a specialist in power management and smart green solutions, revealed its next-generation EC fan motor, broad EC fan portfolios, and innovative HVDC and EC pump line-ups for HVAC, data centre, and industrial applications at Chillventa 2026 in Nuremberg, Germany
These innovations can help customers enhance energy efficiency, simplify system integration, and address the cooling demands of modern buildings, industrial facilities, and AI data centres.
Patrick Ku, head of the Power Electronics Business, Delta Electronics EMEA region, said, “The rapid growth of AI infrastructure, electrification and energy-efficient HVAC systems is driving demand for more intelligent and efficient thermal management solutions. Our latest EC Fan and innovative EC and HVDC Pump portfolios help customers reduce energy consumption, simplify system integration and prepare for the next generation of cooling applications.”
Delta’s New Motor Technology Shapes Ultra-Efficient Cooling for EC Fans
Delta’s latest motor combines efficiency beyond the IE6-equivalent benchmark, IP66-rated protection, and smart control and monitoring for high-airflow EC axial fans and high-pressure EC blowers.
Its fully enclosed inner-rotor design is almost 30% more compact than its predecessor, reducing installation space while optimising airflow and improving overall system efficiency.
Additionally, enhanced surge protection and full-load operation at ambient temperatures up to 70°C support reliable performance in demanding environments. Optional Bluetooth and vibration sensor control also enable wireless monitoring and parameter adjustment, while a built-in LED status indicator simplifies identification to reduce downtime.
ErP 2026-Compliant EC Fan Solutions

Delta’s EC fans comply with ErP 2026 ecodesign requirements and support energy-efficient chillers, dry coolers, and air-handling units. Depending on the model, they also support full-load operation at ambient temperatures up to 70°C.
Selected models maintain total harmonic current distortion (THDi) below 5%, reducing electrical harmonics and preserving power quality in data centre fan walls and other multi-fan systems. Optional diffusers and flow grids enhance axial fan performance, with diffusers enhancing efficiency by 8-10% and reducing noise by 2-3dBA at the same operating point.
Innovative HVDC Pump and Fully Integrated EC Pump Technology

Building on its liquid-cooling experience since 2026, Delta introduced two market-first innovations at Chillventa: an HVDC pump and fully integrated EC pumps with built-in power conversion and motor control.
The HVDC pump supports CDU coolant circulation in next-generation AI infrastructure adopting HVDC power architectures. The compact EC pumps eliminate external motor controllers and reduce cabling, while weighing up to 30% less than comparable market offerings, simplifying integration into space-constrained systems such as in-rack and in-row CDUs.
The broader portfolio also includes 48VDC configurations. Depending on the models, features include BLDC motor efficiency exceeding 85%, low-noise and low-vibration operation, IPX6 protection, and an operating temperature range of −10°C to 85°C, supporting reliable performance in demanding environments.
