Updated electric model features enhanced exterior
Genesis unveiled its redesigned GV60 featuring an enhanced interior and exterior, with new bumpers. Headlights, and wheels inspired by the ‘athletic elegance’ design philosophy. This is the model's first comprehensive update since its debut in 2021.
A new high-tech interior has been fitted with, what the company describes as, a signature ‘beauty of white space’ concept for enhanced user experience. A full European specification will be announced prior to the Korean market debut in Q1 of 2025.
The new GV60 sport’s redesign includes a new bumper and headlights for enhanced lighting performance. This is achieved through the new Micro Lens Array (MLA) technology which first appears on the G90. This adds to the brands Two Lines design language.
A sport five-spoke design has been added to the new 21-inch wheels to keep the design in line with the rest of the car.
Previously popular elements have been kept including the ‘crystal sphere’ rotating gear selector, whilst new features have been added. A new 27-inch connected car integrated cockpit (ccIC) information and entertainment system has been added.
The information and entertainment system links the driver information, audio, visual, and navigation displays on a single screen. The new design helps create a greater sense of space in the front cockpit of the GV60.
Usability is increased by a new three-spoke steering wheel, whilst also making the car feel sportier. Further details and redesigns will be announced in the first quarter of 2025, with sales set to start in Korea.
Information on the European model will become available soon.
