Contechs, a global automotive design and engineering consultancy, has been named winner of the Collaborative Excellence Award at the McLaren Supplier Summit 2026, marking a milestone in the partnership between the two organisations
Presented at the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking on September 3, the award recognises Contech’s contribution to McLaren through design and engineering excellence, on-time delivery and quality execution.
For over a decade, Contechs has worked with McLaren, providing specialist design, engineering, and programme delivery expertise to support its vehicle programmes.
The Collaborative Excellence Award recognises the results Contechs delivers and the strength of the working relationship between the two organisations.

The award comes as Contechs strengthens its capabilities across its Centres of Competence, expands its global engineering operations, and invests in the people, technology, and specialist expertise required to support complex vehicle development programmes.

This award also follows a sustained period of recognition for Contechs, including its two wins at the SME News Enterprise Awards 2026.
