Evertiq Expo Gothenburg 2026 will bring together Sweden’s electronics industry on 17 September at the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre, combining a one-day exhibition with a technical conference covering challenges across electronics design, manufacturing and supply chains.
The event, which dates back to 2014, has become a gathering point for the Scandinavian electronics sector, providing engineers and industry professionals with access to component suppliers, technology providers and manufacturing specialists.
Gothenburg provides a significant industrial base for the event, with the surrounding region supporting automotive, transportation, communications and defence activities. Companies including Volvo Group, SKF, CPAC Systems, Ericsson, RUAG and Saab Electronic Defence Systems contribute to the area’s technology ecosystem, alongside Chalmers University of Technology, Chalmers Ventures and Lindholmen Science Park.
A central theme of this year’s conference will be the circular economy and its implications for electronics manufacturing. Sessions will examine component reuse, remanufacturing, recycling and design approaches intended to extend product lifetimes, reduce dependence on critical raw materials and improve supply-chain resilience.
The programme will also address semiconductor procurement, including market demand, component availability and purchasing strategies. A session on semiconductor date codes will consider their significance for the quality and reliability of components that have been correctly stored.
Miniaturisation will be another focus, with presentations covering precision printed circuit board manufacturing technologies. These processes are increasingly important for compact, highly integrated electronics used in automotive, telecommunications, medical and industrial applications.
Embedded software development will also feature, with discussion around managing complex development programmes, improving cross-functional collaboration and maintaining control of requirements, quality, costs and regulatory compliance.
The conference will additionally examine Sweden’s electronics manufacturing services (EMS) market, including its structure, manufacturing locations, market concentration and changes in ownership.
The organisers describe the event as an opportunity for engineers, manufacturers, designers, purchasing professionals and product-development specialists to combine technical learning with supplier engagement and networking.
